Hey guys,

so in the plannign stages of my sas. I wil be running Dana 44 (78 f150 ) and then the stock 8.8 in rear with adapters.

been thinking a lot about tires and rims. obviously need new rims that arent stock lol

I want steel rims since i will be doing DIY weld on beadlocks. i am thinking either 16x10, 16x8, 17x10 or 17x8 rims.

i am trying to decide base off of the most available tires. i want to run 35x12.5x16(17) tires. i understand that 315x80x16 i believe is fairly common and run about $200 a pop.

what is everyone running??

bump help...

also what back spacing should i run???

If you like the skinny look, go with an 8" wheel. If you like the "balloon" look, go with a 10" wheel.
When aired down the 8" wheel is less likely to pop a bead as well.

I had 36x12.5 on 15x8 with 4" backspacing on my rig.

are you a dana 44 up front? i know the dana after a certain back spacing it will hit.... and are you full width? cause those dont stick out very much at all!

but im leaning towards 15x8 with 4 or 3.75 BS. because they are SUPER cheap and easy to find.

and im going with 35s unless i find a good deal of used 37s with good tread

Narrowed d44 from a 78 f-150.

okay thanks i wiill be sitting full width but i dont mind them sticking out.

im leanign towards the 15x8 with 4" BS steelies. probably throw beadlock on eventually
