running wheel spacers will cause your wheel bearings to wear out sooner even if you buy the best brand of bearings & grease on the market. that is for the vehicles that have inner & outer bearings, where as the newer vehicles have the bolt on sealed bearing set up so im not sure about the newer vehicles that have that form of bearing set up.

I've had 50mm spacers on my 2nd gen explorer for 7 years now. No issues on the bearings.
