2016 Ford Mustang GT 5.0
Welp, Traded in my Explorer, had it 6 months 3 days lol 4500 miles. I missed mustangs to much and being a single 22 year old male I didn't see the point to an explorer anymore. I bought it to have 4wd and more practical space and stuff, but I never used the extra space, and never had more then 1-2 people ride with me, and Im in the Navy now so my duty station right now is in a place that will never see snow so 4wd was useless as well.

Got this sweet new 2016 Mustang GT 5.0 with GT Performance Package, Brembo Brakes, and the Recaro seats, interior is much nicer too, love this beast.

I loved the Ex don't get me wrong, but nothing beats the sound of dat 5.0 and being able to pass people again because lets be honest, the 3.5l N/A v6 in the base Ex was a dog.

My buddy was complaining today about his 3.5 2014 Ex Limited..He loves it and everything but wants something with a V8..He is used to the Hemi Durango and Hemi Charger..I drove his Ex a ton of times..It has adequate power but not like a V8..He plans to trade the Ex in next month for a V8 SUV..He is not exactly sure what he wants yet but it will be a V8.

I am on the fence about the Ex..I wish the Ex had at least a 3.7 like the Utility..I want a SUV but now thinking of a late model [2014] Navigator,Expedition,Tahoe or Suburban..I am single myself [older though] and take a lot of road trips in the summer..I am used to V8's my whole life so it might be too hard for me [like you] to get used to the 3.5 for the long haul.

I do not want a Turbo..I am afraid of burning them out as I generally keep vehicles for over 200K miles..My last car [Town Car] had over 300K miles when I sold it..My Vic now has over 200K miles..I figure maintenance on a high mileage Turbo will be a lot higher then a V8..Just IMHO.

Your 5.0 Mustang looks awesome as well as your past white Ex.

Ahh yeah, Ive never had a v8 before I always settled on the cheaper models of the cars I got due to budget (college student) but now I don't really have anything to spend my check on since pretty much everything is provided, I decided to get exactly what I wanted, Already put like 200 miles on it today.

I change my mind alot, This is like my 6th car now, 3rd brand new one, so I average a car per year lol. Longest ive had one was my 2012 mustang 3.7l, keep it for 3 years before i traded it on the Explorer.
