Brush guard swap

Anyone have any experience modifying a 95 sport brush guard to fir a 2000? I know the bumpers are different and may involve some cutting, which is fine, but I'm not sure if there were any changes to the frames or frame mounts over the years, any advice would be appreciated.

as far as i know the frame of the sport is the same as the rest of them. i think it only got a face lift in 2001.

I already mounted the guard to my Ex, but the bumper was different, I had to cut through part of the bumper to get the arms to reach the frame
