Are '98 Explorer headlight lenses plastic or glass?

97s are plastic. I am confident 98s are plastic. The glass ones are probably on Jaguars, and cost a fortune.

Yeah, same for '99s - they're plastic. Busted one hitting a deer a while back.

I needed to know what the lenses are made of so as to not screw-up cleaning off the foggy, gritty crap. Replacing them is a possible solution, but they're not that bad...yet.
