is $350 worth what looks to be a decent looking rad and hopefully doing it once and being done till the wheels fly off your car?

How much is regular rad ?

down here...from the stealership...about $450 NZ for oem...this Rad equates to about $550 NZ all up(inc tax and duty)....
I've spent over 1k in the last year on 2nd hand radiators....might be worth a shot.:burnout:
(a 175 wet shot......)
i do like the fact the manufacturer states they will build to order....

I think something else is wrong. I find my 2005, 4L Explorer to be very cold blooded. I have never gotten it to pressurize, and I live in Florida where 90+ F temp is normal. How you getting so much pressure to bust a rad when I can't get my upper hose hard?

ps, don't suggest Viagra for my hose.:D

Ford pressure caps are crap. The big Ford Tech youtuber made a video about them. Pretty much every diesel Ford he sees has a pressure cap that retains 0 psi.. And they use the same caps on cars. Wouldn't surprise me if your cap is no good. My system certainly pressurizes.

every time i replace a radiator ....i replace the pressure cap and the thermostat...add pre used rads and "excessive" speed up and down the mountain ranges..i really have no idea why they keep blowin'...

Bingo on the radiator cap. Fixed it right up. My upper hose is hard for the first time since I bought the car.
