I had that happen as well. I replaced the MC with a new unit from Rock Auto. Pedal feel was horrible. I messed around with everything, including replacing the brake booster. Finally on a whim, I got a new MC from Napa at about 50% more cost. Fixed the problem.

NEW means Never Ever Worked. With parts the way they are these days, you could end up buying something that has sat on the shelf years and might be dried out or sticky internally.
