Heyyo so I went to pick n pull a few weeks back and i found a 97 mercury mountaineer and picked off a spoiler and the rear molding. I got home and realized that I had to remove my emblems. And well I did, I just used some heavy duty dbl sided tape to tape on the emblems and the molding and then removed the emblems off of my car carefully, I aligned it and taped it and voila, to remove the part that said “mountaineer v8 mercury “ I just polished it off and it came off not harm done!
I cut the little pokes off the back of the explorer and the ford emblem and taped them on and they ain’t going no where here are some pics, I love it

Side note : I aligned the emblems buy putting them up the old emblems on the car, so the distances should be the same from the taillight on the molding,
The molding I just eyeballed and turned out pretty good

I really like the looks of that mod.

Not bad, I saw it on Instagram days ago, might've seen it here first but I'm too lazy to check to see. I'm more of a debadged person to be honest, my Eddie has no badges and my white car will once the matching fender gets put on.

I like the mods you've done also. It is looking very nice. I went with the same head light set up, only I used the clear ones, (it breaks up all the black on my rig with a little none-color on the front end). I am also going to go get a limited grill for mine too as I like what it has done for your rig and the others on the forum, that is if I can find one. The second gen is just about all phased out up here at the pick-n-pulls and I may have too find one else where and pay the higher price along with shipping....yuk!

I'm that kind of guy too. Been hesitant about taking the rear badges off my xplora because I thought there may be holes where the badges were. If I was able to do this mod, it would have been the strip only with no emblems. I also run the Limited front end now, but have a spare front end with the billitt styled grille installed and custom taillights.
