Ok here we go.

2000 V6 SOHC.
126 miles
LPG (propane)conversion. Also runs on petrol (gas)

When on petrol there is a misfire in cylinder 1.
When on LPG it's fine.
It's just had a full service (plugs /wires / filters / fluids)

I'm inclined to believe it's an injector fault.

Any help / advice / pointers would be great

Thanks
Si

I’d swap in a used, cleaned injector, or pull the one in it and try and clean it and test the spray pattern.

You can make a fuel injector cleaner/tester at home from a tire valve stem and some other bits.

Swap the injector position with one from another cylinder to see if the problem follows the injector... of course you'll want new injector o-rings.

One thing I wonder is if switching to LPG, does this let traces of old gas sit in the injectors and gum them up? If so then a quality fuel system cleaner might help.

It's not my explorer. I'm working on it for a guy who sent it to a shop for them to fix when it started running rough. It sat for months.
They cleared all the codes and I've done a bunch of work on it to get it road legal again.
They said it had misfire cylinder 5. It had a cracked plug.

Now that I've had it running again, it says misfire cylinder 1.

It's getting returned to him on Saturday as is, I can't get the parts here in time. So it'll have to wait for another day
