excellent! thank you, to remove the grille on a 18 sport do I need to take off the whole fascia assembly or can I just get away with going in from the top ? Im hoping i can remove it from the top and not take the whole bumper off

I can't say for sure but you may have to remove the bumper. Do you still have the 2017 Sport that shows in your profile/margin?

Keep in mind these are 2014 prices.
DG1Z-1015-A Wheel Assy. (List) $102.95, (Net) $88.00 = $352.00
F87Z-1130-GB Wheel Cover (List) $23.54, (Net) $20.00 = $80.00
TPMS-12-Kit, TPMS Sensor (List) $63.82, (Net) $55.00 = $220.00
DG1Z-1012-AWSP Nut (List) $2.56 (Net) $2.56 = $51.20
1007K Wheel Weight Kit (List) $3.95 (Net) $3.95 = $3.95
ETIRECON (Stewardship Fee) $5.43 X 4 =$21.72
Labour to install and balance 4 wheels and tires - $78.00, Parts $1588.87 for a total of $1666.87 + tax.
NOTE: The wheel nuts were substantially more but because the parts manager had bought the last box of them from the supplier he gave me a discount on them. Not sure what the actual price should have been.
Also, the cost of the 4 tires, $860 is included in the Parts cost but not itemized here. That brings the cost down to $728.87 + the cost of your tires and installation/balancing.

Hello there everyone... its been a while since this thread had activity but i had a quick question...

Would the above parts list fit on a 2018 Explorer Sport?

One last Question for you all...

My factory wheel and tyre size is 255/50-20

According to my research a perfect size equal would be 255/60-18 or 235/65-18

would both those sizes fit on a steel PIU wheel rim considering the factory size says it should be 245/55-18??

Thanks

Both should fit. I'm currently using a 235/60R18 on the Interceptor steel wheel. I had them on my 2014 MKT origiinally. When I go to replace them I'll put on the 235/65R18 which is an exact match for the 255/50R20 ones that are the OEM ones. If you are looking to use these 18" tires for Winter driving, I would go with the 235 instead of the 255.

Winter is just around the corner and I'd love to see have Interceptor wheels on my Explorer Sport.

Will Police Interceptor Wheels fit the 2017 Explorer Sport?

My local dealer says that the Explorer and Police Interceptor Explorer have different hubs. And the Interceptor Explorer shares hubs with the Taurus.
I have a 2015 Explorer Sport. I purchased a set of 4 wheels, tires, nuts and center caps (mounted & balanced) from our local (very reputable) auto recycle yard that were on a PIU which had been rear ended. Tread was 11/32" on all 4 Nokian WR G4 tires. I've used this wheel / tire set for 3 winters, swapping out with the standard 20" Hankooks. Two downsides: the speedometer reads 6 mph fast when the vehicle is actually traveling at 65 mph (GPS reading). And, driver must be very careful not to hit front bumper on curbs when parking, since the front end is 2+ inches lower. Upside - acceleration is wicked. Downside - I'm logging more miles on the vehicle than actually traveled. Cost from the auto recycle was $800 for the complete set including TPMS. I will replace the Nokian's with a 255/55R18 109V (29.0") which are nearly the same rolling diameter as the Hankook's (29.1"). But the biggest issue with this tire swap - Washington State Troopers use white Explorers with black grills, black police wheels and the little chrome center caps. My Sport is also white with the blacked-out grill. Driving beyond the speed limit is nearly impossible since everyone thinks I'm also a trooper and slows to the posted speed limit.
