Hi everyone,

My passenger side running board brackets rusted out and crumbled, making it hang by the front one alone. Upon me sliding underneath to take it off, the pinchwelds that held the metal brackets are also crumbling to nothing. Making it impossible to replace it with factory mounting.

So I ask has anyone installed or knows how the aftermarket running boards install? Do they use the factory mounts or pinchwelds? Let me know what brand you used.

Could you post pics.....

I replaced my OEM boards with 4” iBoard running boards. You can find them all over Amazon and eBay for under $200/pair. They come in widths if 4”, 5”, and 6”. They’re aluminum, and come in either a polished or black powder-coated finish. There are pictures of them on my truck in my media library.
