There's a tang that the TPS fits on, that physically turns the TPS. You need to make
sure the tang is engaged when installing the TPS. You'll feel a slight spring tension when
the TPS is properly placed..
Thanks for replying. Is it possible that I my have broken off that tang when removing the old, original TPS? The slot - head screws were in there with Loc-Tite and I tapped (beat) the screwdriver pretty hard to get those screws out. I've tested the last 4 TPS's And they all test good except for when I turn the throttle...nothing happens. I have good power and a good ground circuit. I can't find a good pic of the throttle body to see how long the tang is. When you get a chance, please let me know what you think. Thanks again!
