Door problem

Okay I've got a 94 Explorer with a problem that I've had with at least 2 of my Explorers which are both 4 door models is that the rear doors don't open from the inside anymore. Is there a way to fix this problem at all? If anybody could please give me any information or advice here at all it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to view this thread.

My handle is like that and not flat like it should be on one that works. So something that isn't the child locks? I honestly have no idea.
