A letter N shows in the dashboard screen

It is your compass direction display.

Check your owners manual and it might give you more information in the Navigation section.

It may not move if it has been disabled or there is something wrong with it.

This reminds me of a story I heard of someone who was complaining that the car needed gas several times a day. An E showed up and thought the yous was empty!

The compass display was enabled and the vehicle doesn't have SYNC which means it doesn't have a GPS. Disable it.

That's his problem Jason. He enabled it but for some reason hasn't been able to get rid of it according to his first post.

Thats most likely! Because it looks like a camps with the small arrow on top.

I thought about that before but 2as not sure because it doesn't change at all. And didn't think that I can enable something doesn't exist in the car .
