What kind of lift would be needed to install oem running boards on a 17 X P?
Installation is taking place in a 2 car garage

None, for the OEM boards anyway. It took me about an hour to complete.

Use threadlocker if installing the OEM boards. Trust me.
 






I have done them on my 14 and 19 w/o jacks or lift. Just laid on garage floor. They were DeeZee.

Took me approximately 2 hours to install runners and luggage cross bars. instruction manual had only pictures without any explanations. Kinda frustrating at first, then you get use to it.

Just keep in mind that the recommended weight on the cross bars should not exceed 45 lbs.
