Looking into replacing my front u-joints, one of them has a ton of play, what is involved in replacing them? Also basically all greaseable joints are shot, so they should probably be done as well?

There are 3ea U joints in the front end of your truck, two of them are fairly easy to replace the third can be a PITA because you cannot get the axle shaft out of the differential, So there are two ways to attack this U joint, replace it in the truck or remove the diff/beam and then replace it.

You may also consider replacing your wheel bearings, inner bearing grease seal, possibly the spindle bearings and if you need them upper and lower ball joints all at the same time.

Do you have auto or manual hubs?

Nice! good time to do ball joints if you need them
Have you tried a search? there should be some good posts about doing those front U joints. I use a ball joint press to do the inner U joint and just do it in the truck

Mevotec makes a TTX upper ball joint for us, unfortunately they do not make a lower
You can use Spicer, Moog or Pro forge for the lower
