It took me about 6 months to find the right Explorer. I found a 2006 Eddie Bauer 4.6 4WD that has about 136K miles on it. It was on Ebay twice and I ended up getting it for $6K.
I am semi retired and want to do some car camping in it as we explore the USFS access roads mostly up in the high country under the pines.
I have already had a few things that needed to be fixed so I will be posting a bit about that. Anyway, glad to be here.
