The problem is, they are only helpful if one reads them. It seems many Manuals never leave the glovebox.

I’ll be new to Sync 3 and the driver assistance technology, so there’s plenty to read, and I might as well, since I don’t have the car yet. But I won’t study the nav system; near as I can tell from another thread here, the maps are likely to be out of date and a hassle to update if you can do it at all.

Incredible how lazy people are. Half the questions I see about 5th gens could be easily answered by reading the owners manual.
