Getting ready to replace plugs in my 2010 Mountaineer.Read the TSB from ford. Did auto repairs for thirty years but we're going back when Cylinder head were cast iron. So what procedures did you use or did you follow Ford's recommendations. Have 72,000 miles on I believe are the original plugs. Did you use any anti seize compound in the threads?? Purchased ngk iridium spark plugs. Thanks guys

When I did my 4.0 I did not use antiseize. When I do them again I will use nickle antiseize on the threads. Dont use copper antiseize for plugs in aluminum heads its possible it could cause corosion problem between the copper and aluminum.

Thanks Rcflyer for the input. I Have a bottle of nickle antiseize that I use a smige on my wheel studs
