Is the homelink a stand-alone unit or is there programming in the sync3? Mine didn’t have it from the factory so I bought an OEM visor with the homelink and it won’t talk to my garage door opener. And I verified it is the homelink not the car2u. The lights blink on the homelink like it’s taking the remote settings but nada on the garage door side.

Did you set the opener itself to the 'learn' mode? One thing I learned was to clear the memory on the visor button after each unsuccessful attempt.

Yes. I even ordered the chamberlain repeater kit and still no luck. I’m 5+ hrs into this now.
