Recall Deadline?

Hey,

Looking into getting 2016 Explorer sport and has 95k. Is it worth getting bc I know turbos eventually go bad? Also does anyone know if Ford is sticking to the recall deadline? Saw that the toe link recall deadline ended August 19, 2019. Don’t want to get the car then get stuck footing bill for recall.

Welcome to the Forum Jimmy.
Are you buying from a Ford/Lincoln dealership? If so, I would hope that they would have completed all outstanding Recalls.as they are considered "Safety" items.
Ask to see any records of the work if they say it has been done. They should be able to pull that up on their computer system. If it hasn't been done, make it a condition of the sale.

Based on the letter that I received notice 19S17 there was no deadline date. As Peter mentioned if purchase is thru Ford or Lincoln dealer, the recalls should have been completed prior to sold on their lot.
