RAP Module

I need a RAP for my 97 Ex.
Where to buy or does anyone have one to
sell here.(prefer a member here)

It worked for a short time then failed.
Has anyone repaired one?

I'd pull one off a junkyard vehicle.

When you wrote it worked for a short time then failed, do you mean you have already replaced it once, then the replacement failed?

If so I am wondering if you have some intermittent power issue like a frayed wires, contacts, or a short that blows the fuse?? More details might help.

If you want to pop yours open, especially the original if you have it sitting around and useless at this point, I'll take a look and maybe/maybe-not see something, depending on the quality of the pics.

I took my dead RAP module apart. Nothing looked obviously wrong...

I bought the truck last year no flobs.
Bought new fobs, reprogrammed both and worked fine for a time.
Vehicle will enter programming mode but, when any fob is pressed nothing happens
(will not program)..
All fuses ok, Keyless entry pad works fine....

Figure like A9's etc. have bad caps or no or bad antenna connection to the rap..
I used to rebuild Caddi DFI units back in the late 70's and do
Bosch CFI and EFI...
But, I have slept since then...

I am going to suspect a bad solder joint at the antenna location.
If I get a replacement that works, I will then explore the board with a 30m X loop..
