Awesome wheel choice @1996EB. I need to get some headlights and do the grille blackout as well.

Thank you! I highly recommend that you get the headlight housings and blackout your grille. I also removed my roof rack and used bed liner on my step bars- both of those items made a huge difference. I'm running those 18" rims over the winter, and possibly longer. I'm planning on refinishing my 20" rims in black, for the summer.

You two should meet up and do a photoshoot of those rigs.. just sayin' lol

Good idea. We can meet in the middle- looks like we're about an 8 hour drive away from each other.

My brother is in London actually. I’ll give a heads up next time I’m in the area.

Where did you get your housing's? I can't find the smoked ones anywhere

Thank you for the kind words. The fender flares I built from scratch and made rough tooling to recreate them should we ever have an accident. They are had laid fiberglass and cost me about $750 to have laid up. There was about 6 hours afterwards of fine tuning the edges to get a nice fit, but I simply wanted this truck to be unique and stand out.

Same went for the sub, with three kids, the cargo area is always loaded, so I needed a practical solution to get the boss's sign off on a big stereo.:)
Awesome Job on the X! I have the 2006 and I trying to add some mods to it. I have been looking for a sub enclosure. Where did you find yours at. It is very nice!

What size wheels and brand?

KMC Hoss 20x9. To my knowledge the offset that I'd purchased is no longer made, as I got the wheels originally for my 2000 Explorer back in 2011.

Pulled off the original minivan style running boards and installed Aries 3 inch step bars. Easy job, just make sure to spray the bolts with rust penetrate a few days before.

Picture of mine... Bought it with a few issues here and there but just recently had my 05 totaled and needed another rig so went to an 06. 150k for $3,500. Had to fix the rusted roof, missing fog light and she's pretty much good to go. Just purchased some Cerakote Trim Coat because the sides are super faded. Picture I took was after applying some Slick Products but in Florida Sun+Rain = back to how it was within a month so gonna try the Cerakote next. Been thinking of getting some Adrenaline wheels those look pretty sick.
