    Torsion bar rubbing

Jaked up the truck this morning...no change. Torqued on the torsion bolt and brought it up about a half inch. I can get a piece of paper in there now but that's about it.

    Torsion bar rubbing

It's connected still....bad angle. I tried moving the bar and it doesn't have any play....and on looking from the front, the arms on the PS is level but the DS looks a little low. I'm tempted to tweak it up and see what happens but I'm still trying to make heads or tails of this before...

    Torsion bar rubbing

Just picked up the truck used. Doesn't appear lifted but there's a bit of binding in the front and noticed what appears to be a rubbing torsion bar. I was under the impression that the bar is supposed to remain relatively centered as it passes through the hole. Pass side is fine, it's just...

    I'm BACK!!!!!

I'm not planning a lift at all. maybe WAY down the road, but fist and foremost I'm doing tint, converting to powere locks and getting keyless/alarm/remote start. I might even get a small plow for winter.

    I'm BACK!!!!!

OK, so many of you have no clue who I am and most of youd don't care. I was an Elite member a couple years ago with a 93 sport rocking 32s. I traded it in for a cavalier because I was doing alot of driving and couldn't deal with 12mpg (and didnt have money to regear). Fast forward to this...

    Turn Signal flasher location

unfortunately i threw away my haynes and chilton manuals. if not under the dash, there is almost always on in teh cabin somewhere..sometimes on teh side of teh dash (requiring the door to be open), sometimes in teh glovebox. it may not always be obvious, and there is usually an access panel...

    help on buying rims

ok.....i did the 3" BL on my 93 sport. 1st, you can run up to a 12" wide tire on stock rims. IF you choose to get new rims, DO NOT get 15x10...you will have lots of issues. stick with 15x8. once you choose your rim size, you have a choice. 31x10.5 or 32x11.5. i went with 32x11.5 for...

    Clear lenses vs Stock

i had them in the clear, bottom lenses. they physically could not have fit in the corner unless i modified teh headlight door.
  23. U

    Clear lenses vs Stock

i had strobes in mine....they were plenty. any place that sells APC can get the ones you want but they will be sold seperately, for 89-92 ranger. as for teh headlights, i dont know for sure. check ebay or do a search here on the board, there was big talk about it earlier in the year.
