    I have been looking at the NP 435 as well, but it seems to be easier to adapt a T18 to a Dana 20 transfer case. The first gears are comparable and the T18 is all cast where the NP 435 has an aluminum top cover. I would like to hear more about the Ranger overdrive. The 4.0 with 35's and 4.10's...

    Sounds like a good idea. I have been thinking about this for some time and I am currently scouting for parts. It will likely be next summer before I start due to obligations with the local school district and other things. Once I begin, I will start the write up.
