I have since sold this truck. I do not think I ever found where the green plug went. The black plug went to the top of the tranny which I accessed from under the carpet/cup holder inside the truck.

My old and new were the same size as I checked them before the install. You may have the wrong part in the right box. Go back to napa.

I've read some threads that there may be issues in the seat/seatbelt wires. One user just had to wiggle them. Another user had it happen to her but not her husband, turned out they have the seat adjusted differently which triggers the light for her but not him. Wires were kinking. My two cents...
