    shelbyT. 2010 explorer O2 sensor Check eng. light out when Ford service replaced the O2 sensor, Vehicle is covered by warranty. Service dept. cannot give an explanation as to why the decrease in mpg since changing the sensor. they say the computer shows nothing that would cause a drop in mpg.

    2010 Explorer 02 Sensor, ShelbyT The code was P2272 02 sensor stuck lean bank 2. replaced downstream 02 sensor. Before sensor was replaced the average MPG was 17. since sensor was replaced it is now 13. WHY?

    Just had O2 Downstream sensor replaced, code showed sensor stuck open. Now fuel economy sucks. do the downstream sensors regulate fuel mixture?
