how about the psi for 265/70/16 tires? Looked it up and I've gotten between 30-32psi, and 35psi and 38psi. what should it be for cold/warm weather?

Soooo... I finally made the purchase last night! Got the 1999 Explorer Limited V8! Excited :) will post pictures soon. My next question is, right now it has slightly larger tires, I was wondering what is the stock tire size? The wheels I have on them right now are 16 inch rims and tires i think...

i guess if i get this 2004 explorer, just be sure to change the transmission fluids every 30k miles?

how much mileage do you have on your explorer right now? have you had to do any major maintenance to it?

i'm not tooooo concerned about the little minor things here and there. mainly the important necessities. The explorer isn't really going to be a daily, mainly for camping/100 miles a week?

found a good deal on a 2004 explorer though. $4000 for a 2004 V6 with 100,000miles. He is selling it because he is moving and can't take his car with him.

ok sounds good. for the 1999, not that heated seats are a big deal but if i decide to fix it, would it cost a lot? also, there is another one. slightly higher mileage, close to 153k miles but slightly cheaper. here's the link to the ad and he has sent a couple more pics that i will email you...

I only have the picture of the exterior of the 1996, but looks clean. However, the front bumper does look like it may need to be fixed.

the 1996 and the 1999 are actually both v8s. Seems to me the 1996 would be the much better deal but if the 1996 comes with more maintenance problems, i'd rather save the money and get a higher mileage but problem free one.
