Looks like you got the older design 1 piece unit.. I just got the same from Rock Auto and mine is a 1 piece with pressed in balljoints instead of molded in ones...

I choose to go with a 1 piece design cause my wife truck needed the cams to get hers aligned so I figured might as well spend the money for the 1 piece and cams in order to save money on paying the shop to install and the price of the part..

They are the same when you buy the newer kit cause they changed the spring rate but when they came from the factory the gen 2 springs where thinner and rated at 1100lbs vs gen 1 thicker and rated at 1250lbs.. Here check it out...

I have been around a while and most people do both the AAL and Shackle.. But I have also read that the shackles cause your shackles to flatten out ... SO I guess my questions should have been whats the best mod or mods for the money???
