I personally wouldn't be too concerned about upgrading to better upper control arms. Not with only that small height. I would replace the uppers just so their new but I wouldn't be concerned. They can be a pain to replace though but I think its worth it in the end.

I don't think there is an option for that. Just use a fm transmitter/if cassette player, use the tape deck aux cord or buy a new radio.
