Anyone else have this problem? I had one of the spring assemblies come out of its 'home' during re-install. HELP!

Ok, so I removed the door handles on my 2014 xport to de-chrome them...everything went fine, but while I was messing with them on the side of the truck, the latch assembly and spring shifted and came out of it's "home"...not there's no tension on it, and the door handle can't be re-installed...
