All I can find is the entire kit, front and back, and its $170. I was just looking for explorer lowering blocks, i guess i need to look for a universal lowering block. Does any block work with the explorer?

This is just a shot (and may get flamed) but I have searched and came up with nothing. Is there anyway, that cost under 100 or less to lower the back just a little bit (even 1/2 an inch would be fine). For example, is it possible to put something like a hockey puck to use as a lowering block...

Not to hijack the thread, but... What if someone was to buy just a k&n drop in filter and modify the air box? would this about be just as good as the kkm?

You can take the air silencer off your air box. Then drill it out, if you like it just keep it that way. If not then get the new intake.

My 98' 4.0 SOHC does the same thing. When im sitting at a stoplight it will vibrate and make the low noise, and when i let off the brake it will do it for a little while but when i accelerate it goes away. it will vibrate for about 3-4 seconds then go away then come right back.

I have only about 62000 miles on my 98 X. The shocks are starting to make some noise. Is this normal? and how much longer should i wait to replace them? I know i can go a long time, but i like to keep up on upkeep.

There will be alot of different opinions on this. I would put the pressure at about 38. The higher pressure the better your gas mileage will be.

For those of you who use synthetic oil, how long do you go between oil changes?
