Sounds like the brake booster diaphragm.

spark plug change in a 4.6l

Plugs won't gain any fuel mileage. Injectors might see a little gain, but these engines, and most any engine, loses fuel mileage as the miles get put on. That doesn't even include all of the idling. Newer vehicles have a engine clock that records the idle time, along with total engine run time.

Ha Ha!! Explain that to the lifted truck guys. Or the little crap boxes that have the small donuts sticking out.

Anyone Cross Shop Durango SRT vs ST?

You're correct, there's no need, other than saving a few lbs. Although, with the third gen Coyote engine, you start off with 460 hp at 18mpg. With a few mods, these get unreal hp and still retain the mpg. The feel of the V8, is just better, and the sound out of the rear has a better resonance...

Anyone Cross Shop Durango SRT vs ST?

The Grand Cherokee is a little more classy than the Durango, but it doesn't have the third row. However, if you are willing to wait for the 2021 models to hit the market, the Grand Cherokee will have an available third row, also it and the Durango are being restyled. There are some concepts...

Auto tilt side view mirrors in reverse

It's a useless feature to begin with. I've always turned them off. It's very distracting, and doesn't allow the driver to see the sides of the vehicle without adjusting the mirrors while trying to back up. It's much worse if parked on a grade, or slope.

    2020 Explorer Transmission

The Jeep's have this same issue on some vehicles. FCA claims it's normal, so Ford may claim the same.

    Welding lug nut stud

Find a new mechanic. This one sounds like a hack. Willing to put your (and your family's) life at risk, not to mention innocent people sharing the road.

    Welding lug nut stud

If the hole is damaged (elongated), replace the hub. Welding it wouldn't be safe if the stud isn't supported through the hub.

    Condensation on inside glass

It doesn't matter what the particular manufacturer calls it, it's a buy back. It is branded as a buy back. Any half intelligent person understands that there was a recurring issue, or multiple issues with the vehicle. That IS a LEMON. This follows that VIN# indefinitely. Yes...it's branded. It...

    Condensation on inside glass

A buy back IS a lemon. The only reason a manufacturer will buy back, is a recurring or multiple issue(s). A buy back shows on the vehicle report and indicates a lemon to anyone who cares to check it. The vehicle is branded and will carry that for the life of the vehicle.

Slight whine when reversing in ST

The turbo's whine only in reverse.... So they must scream in drive...smh

    Why order now?

All vehicles are test driven at the factory, they all get dirt and other substances (maybe bird poop) on them in transport, and washing is part of PDI/prep. All vehicles have 3-4 people drive them before you ever see it. Sometimes more.

    Condensation on inside glass

Or the sunroof. All manufacturer's have issues with the sunroofs. The drains malfunction for various reasons and allow moisture inside the vehicle.

Koons Ford Prices - $10k Off of MSRP

It's amazing that people get offended by someone else's opinion. If someone doesn't agree with your point of view, it's an immediate defensive and aggressive attitude. Forums are for open discussion, whether or not you agree with what someone else's opinion is. This is a forum for the 2020...

Koons Ford Prices - $10k Off of MSRP

We have 5 Ford dealers within 20 miles, and they all have 2020 Explorers sitting on their lots. They've had them for a while, and haven't sold them. When ordering a vehicle, it doesn't matter what brand, you are going to wait several months for it. That has nothing to do with all of the units...

Koons Ford Prices - $10k Off of MSRP

It's called an opinion. Just like your quoted opinion. Lack of sales is an indicator that the general, and majority of the public, don't care for the 2020 Explorer's. I've seen a total of two on the road, and one had a dealer plate on it. Ford tries to copy most of their body styling from other...

There are very apparent body changes on the 2020 model. And they are hideous.

    2020 Off-Road Experiences

The Explorer is far from an off-road vehicle. A low front facia, long wheel-base, and low approach/departure angles suggest keeping it on pavement, or the occasional dirt road.

02 Explorer Ball Joints-What Else To Replace

This is a super simple job with it being 2WD. Just do one side at a time. Remove the spindle, do the upper, do the lower, and replace the spindle. While you have it apart, check the hub bearings. This is a good chance to change the hubs, as it's very easy to do at this point.

What triggers "Door ajar" light ?

If the doors are closed, two things can cause this. First is the switch on the latch. Second, and I've never seen it personally, is the wire harness in the door jamb has broken wires. Check the wire harness... free, or change the bad switch... a bit costly.
