Sorry to revive an old thread just trying to figure out which auto transmissions are direct swaps into my '88 ranger 2wd I'm having an extremely hard time finding a A4LD
I realize this is an old thread just wondering of you guys can help me out. My A4LD in my 88 2.9l ranger whent out. My friend has a 1995 explorer and said she'd sell me the trans (4r44e?) ECU and harness for 200 I'm wondering if the swap would be possible and similar to this one?
