Why are you keeping your explorer if you have already done the repair and it didn't work? I wonder how high other cars ppm reach and what the normal levels are.

I don't think it should be 200 in a home.

I got one that will show the ppm. The first one doesn't register in until 50 ppm which is a bit much.

So are you not feeling any symptoms? I would assume anything above 10ppm would be bad.

I turned off auto and the fan all the way up directed towards my head and it worked. So I'm not sure if there is an issue with auto heat. That's why it would be nice if others could comment to see if this is a problem

What do you mean by that? I have it in auto so I thought it automatically adjusted direction/fan speed. I haven't pushed the buttons to direct it towards windshield or feet if that's what you mean.

Does it matter what side of the cover you take off with the screwdriver? Left side right side etc?

Is there an easy way to remove the front dome light cover up front on the ceiling and then put it back on? Somehow a bug got in there. This is on 2017 XLT Explorer.

yea the manual says 10000 / 1 year. Saves a trip a year. Also I think it's a design flaw that the screen doesn't stay in nighttime mode after turning off. No one wants a bright screen in their face at night

Usually you can tell with the spotlight on the sideview mirror but some don't even have that. I've seen a black explorer police car that looks totally normal, no lights, no special plate. It is cool to see when the lights come on the undercover ones. The sport editions I am most cautious of.

Has anyone actually notified changes in other drivers when driving the explorer, as they think it might be a police car? I suppose having a certain color car also helps. With the crown Vic I've heard having one In your driveway deters crime, not sure if same is true with explorer.

Ok I have an XLT with sport appearance package but I guess that doesn't count. So there is not way to adjust, not even manually?

Is it true you can only move pedals on platinum edition? I read the manual to figure out how to move the pedals and it seemed to say platinum only. The brake is so far back even with seat moved up it is hard to reach, for a tall person even.
