Just received my Pro comp AAL kit from Summit, The question I have is, I already know that most people say to replace the bolts. My kit came with 4 bolts. 2 smaller diameter bolts, and two, what appears to be 3/8 bolts. My questions, is what is wrong with the 3/8 bolts that come with the kit?

Thats funny, the link at the top of the forum says the audiophile systems have a 4inch mid with 1inch tweeter. Guess he is wrong.

I have a 99 explorer Limited, and am thinking about picking up a 6 1/2 inch component set. Is there much work that would need to be done to get those in there? i.e cutting the door? Because I really don't want to wack this door up, if that's the case then I would rather stick with a 5 1/4...

I run the kumho ecstas on my ranger, very nice tire with no probs. I am sure the stx is comparable.

Anyone know the best way to wire up a pair of Dual voice coil 6 ohm subs? I am using a Memphis 1000d amp, but to get a 1 ohm load, I am pretty sure I would need 3 of the dvc 6 ohm subs, anyone know the best way to wire up 2 subs?

I have the 4.0 sohc in my 99 limited with messed up 255 70 16 michelins, im in need of a front end alignment and tune up, and i am about to break 189k miles, and I get about 22 mpg at 65 mph on the highway.

Well after hearing what a lot of you had to say about these tires (Thanks search function) I went ahead and ordered a set of 255 70 16s Bridgestone Dueler AT/s. Can't wait to get them, and replace my half bald michelins. ;)

Been trying to find some pictures of a wood dash kit installed. There are a few kits on eBay but none show pictures of there kits on an actual explorer. Most interested in seeing it installed on the Center console. Thanks in advance.
