I agree with you. I’m not certain either. Just positing the possibility based on what I’m digging into. I’m thinking of calling Ford (and not just my dealership) on Monday but don’t know who to reach out to. In the meantime...working on a plan B

Looking at previous years, there were at least 3 issues I can put together so far: 1) The transmission was different with the tow package on the XLT - As far as I can tell so far, the transmission isn't different on the XLT with the tow package for the 2020s 2) Dealers and people had issues...

I know others have gone through this before with previous generations, but if the 2020 has no difference in the transmission and if the towing button is in the dial (which it is), as long as it's all factor/OEM parts (hitch, engine oil cooler, wiring, etc), shouldn't the towing capacity be at...

My blue metallic XLT - options included twin panel moonroof, 20” alum wheels, 360 assist, comfort package. Going to get the tow package also when available at my local dealership.
