I have an 03 Explorer 4.0. Transmission was working perfectly. Just had my engine replaced. Now, you have to rev the engine to get it to go into forward and reverse. Also hard shifts on every gear change. My mechanic replaced the tranny solenoid in an attempt to correct the problem. Same issue...
