    Taking my 98 Explorer SOHC XLT to Ford to have the low beams serviced for not working; $650+ to "check them to see what is wrong and then fix":eek:. Local auto electric dealer; $250+:wtf:. Getting the multi-function switch at Autozone new and doing it myself; $52. Priceless. :chug:

    how many time did you change your ball joint since you have your SUV

    Jesus!!! I have 131K on my 98 XLT and I have as of yet not had a problem with my bj's and I have had them checked not only by the dealer, but also a reputable mechanic I trust. I think I will in the next few months switch them out for AM bj's.
