    Lots of awesome info in here guys! Def appreciated. If i can get away with just deleting PATS out of the PCM that I have thats the way I will go. Speedo doesnt matter as much to me since the Jeep probably wont see over 50mph. 40's weren't meant for pavement :D

    Thats some awesome info, thanks for that! Do I need to make sure the codes match or does that not matter much? Its going in my 93 YJ, HP 60 front, fabricated housing 9" rear and 40 trepador radials on creeper locks :D I thought about putting it in the explorer but it works great with the sohc.

    Diff is in good shape, has 100K plus on it. No issues, no leaks, etc. Geared from the factory with 4.10. It goes in the scrap bin soon, taking up room. Please serious buyers only. $75 OBO plus actual shipping. Roughly 20-30 on east coast, 30-40 to the midwest, 40-50 out to the west coast.

    Took me about a month to get mine as well, def worth the wait though! ive put in eight of the 11 i plan on so far. one in each rear wheel well, one in spare tire location and one above rear pinion and the rest are in normal locations.

    Probably has something to do with the wiring harness. I put an 01 in mine and had a hell of a time with the harness.

    Steering - 1 ton GM tre's v.s. Heims

    i use a combination of both on my front end, heims on the drag link and TRE's on the tie rod itself. works very well.

    offset looks too damn close to call. one problem, the center bore on the explorer pulley is 1.14" and the escort pulley is 1" exactly. im going to dry and bore out the escort one .14" and put it on. shouldnt be too difficult. here they are side by side EDIT: issue #2, the holes dont line...

    its looks like the bolt pattern is the same, im worried about offset, i looked them both up and it looks slightly different. like i said, i might just get it, its only 10 minutes to replace it.
