    at least your using welding cable, its alot more flexible and you can easily maneuver it where u need it. where as if u went with the audio equivalent cable its would be a pain in the arse to move and run

    from what i have seen and heard as long as u install a larger tranny cooler you should be fine. but mainly just for light duty snow plowing

    just remember after a week or two to retighten them as the bushings become compressed they will give a little and start clunking

    mines a '09 and its a the same bolt pattern but theres some slack for adjustment on mine so i guess thats why i was able to do it. it wasnt much but i was able to tighten one bolt at a time and get it to where i needed it

    i mentioned this earlier that mine was like that too and i had to loosen the bolts for the alternator and align it up differently. so try doing that and see if it helps

    unusual noise

    after i cleaned mine a few times it just eventually fell off so i just left it alone and haven't had any problems with it since. not sure how bad it is but its not causing any problems yet so not to worried about it

    when i replaced my alternator i left the bolts a little loose until i got the belt on that way i can line everything up. you may have to lossen it a bit to get everything lined properly, but like someone said previously one of your pulleys may be going bad or the tensioner.

    if im not mistaken they should be re tightened after they had a chance to settle in. i know on my sway bar links i had to re tighten them after a week

    My truck does this too except i have a OHV. changed the oil and it went away for a day but now its back and seems louder than before

    Need help removing broken sway bar end links

    i grabbed mine and with enough force was able to snap them in half and then i cut the remainder off with a hacksaw. mine were so rusted a few strokes ( no pun intended) with the hacksaw and they fell off. I actually have to go back out in the morning and re-tighten them

    hmmm, my truck is doing the same thing. i did a tune up, plugs wires and i even changed the coil pack because the 5th bank one was all coroded. afterwards it ran fine for about a minute but now its doing the same thing. how much did the part cost you? oh, and i have a 98 OHV Explorer

    gotcha, and yea thats what i meant i dunno why i said crankshaft. what type of symptoms were u having that made u change it out?

    im slow, what is the CPS? is that the crankshaft position sensor?

    Remove the spring locks for the fuel filter

    this is exactly what i did with mine, whoever owned the explorer before me screwed up the lock collar. after i cut the old filter off i saw all sorts of bad things done to the disconnect clip. now im just running fuel hose to the filter on both sides with clamps
