truck side the metal "funnel" that holds the clips, holds them in to by using a little lip. A part of the lip straightened out and doesn't seem to be holding the clip in

Yes sir. Its not the plastic snap locks that are the problem. It's the metal "quick clip", and its housing which connect the fuel line to the elbow fuel line from the pump itself.

OK so I have had my on going battle with my codes, low fuel pressure etc. Determined there was a problem with the new fuel pump. Turns out there was, had difficulties removing it but finally did and last night I got th elast of the parts I neede and was putting everything back together. So...

OK so I got everything out. Got all the parts I needed. Outt he tank back together. Put the tnak back up. Hooked up the lines. Bolted everythign down. Hooked up the power. Turned the key to run the fuel pump. Runs strong... GAS LEAK!!! the larger of the two line...

By now most of you know the back story... 6 5.0 10 psi at the rail (should be 30-45). On a whim I called Autozone to get a new fuel pump again since the tank was down and it had a 1 year warranty on it. In talking witht he guy onthe phone I mentioned I wanted the whole housing this time...

Dealer wants $77.29 for this. There is no aftermarket part? Also is there any chance this could cause the low fuel pressure if it was broken? Tryign to track down myy 171 and 174 codes and 10psi at the rail!

I changed the Fuel Pressure Regulator already. it was running bad before... and running bad after.
