I'm wanting to use a 2002 explorer 4.0 sohc motor in a 2003 ranger edge. I know the intakes are different - Is it a simple swap ? What else needs to be swapped - exhaust manifolds ? Base pan ? Mounts ? Etc. thanks for any advise in advance.

Can this be done? I see on the back of the ebay controller pic, there's two plugs. Not sure about mine. Would this be a direct swap or would additional harness be required? Will need a new dash as well. TIA :) Ebay...

Hi i've been wanting to do a straight axle swap lately and i was told i could get the axle from a jeep cherokee was curious if this was right and if so what year should i look at, and would i need to change the back axle? any help is very muchly apperciated.

I have located a 2005 4L short block, part number 5L2E-6015-B13A. Will it accept 1996 Ford Explorer 4L heads, manifold, flywheel, starter, transmission housing, etc.? I am concerned about bolt patterns and other obstacles. Any assistance is appreciated.
