window problem

The 4 normal windows have all stopped working. The sunroof and back middle window still work, thankfully. Before these windows stopped working, sometimes the driver controls would work....and sometimes they wouldn't. Sometimes if I'd open and shut the drivers door they'd start working again...

'99 mounty. Passenger side window goes down very slowly. Up doesn't seem to be a problem. Is there something that I can grease at the motor or linkage level, or maybe a loose wire, or am I just waiting for motor replacement when total failure happens?
