04 Broken front coil spring

      My 04 just broke a front coil spring the second coil from the bottom. Tried to replace it the other day but couldn't seem to get the spring compressor on it cause of the way it broke and also rolled over on to the next coil. Any suggestions will help.

      You can just replace the entire strut assembly (shock + spring) preassembled. More expensive but not too bad considering the difficulty you're having with getting the spring compressed.

      Second that, those front springs are really strong and hard to compress to replace.
