1996 4.0 4x4 transmission in a 1999 4.0 4x4

I have installed this 1996 into my 1999 and now I get speed output code scrap yard told me it would work and I didn' find out that the 1996 does not have that sensor o the transmission so here I ask what mods do I have to do to make this work please help not wanting to re do all that work again

I don’t believe you can get that combination to play together. The signal generated for PCM is calibrated for the reluctor. Not sure that a signal can be sent from some other sensor. Lot of experienced members on this forum that may have an answer. Good luck
