1999 explorer fuel pump questions.

Hello, I own a 99 explorer sport sohc that has been sitting for sometime and the fuel pump has decided it no longer wants to work, so I’m looking for a replacement. I was wondering if anyone has had to replace the fuel pump in a similar model or year, are there any recommendation on brand or where to look to get one for my explorer. Any help would be appreciated.

Bosch 69128 (under $45 on eBay w/free shipping). I've installed 6 of these pumps with excellent results. I wouldn't purchase anything other brand.

X2 on what Koda2000 said. I just replaced the one in my wife's 99 Explorer Sport w/4.0 SOHC. What was nice about it is that it comes with a jumper lead to match the electrical connection on the Bosch pump to the Ford wiring because the plugs are different. Also make sure you replace the pump strainer. I used the Bosch pump #-69128, Bosch strainer/sock #-68015, & also replaced the rubber gasket & the screws which were badly rusted, I used the Spectra Premium #- LO96 gasket & screws. I got all the parts from Rock Auto. I had to do a part number search for the pump & the strainer.
