It seems I have a problem with my starter. Twice in one week it wouldn't even crank. First time.. Boyfriend used the remote starter on really cold day. It started, then stalled. So he started it manually. Didn't realize he needed to hit the brake pedal to shut off lights. One hour or so later, I went to start it and it wouldn't even crank. Tried to get a jump, no luck. Next day, it started right up. Again yesterday, I had a no crank problem. Friend came by, tapped on the starter and it started right up. He said I need a new starter. Want to know if there's agreement on this and also where is the starter so I can tap on it if it won't start today?
