- 2001 Ranger XLT Dual Cab
Hi Guys,
Stumbled on to this site one time a while ago. Have had my 2001 Ranger XLT
Flareside Club Cab 3.0 v-6 2-wd W/ just over 100k for going on 10 years.
Have been for the most part very happy w/ it, and would hope to get a few more years out of it. I need to ditch the factory am/fm 6 cd unit, as it keeps eating cd'/s. I would disconnect battery cable and reconnect, and it would usually re-program, and "cough-up" my cd. I got to where I would just put in one cd(one's which I didn't really care @ losing. Now the "disconect trick isn"t really working.
Any suggestions on a relatively inexpensive replacement. One cd capacity is ok, pref. w/i-pod plug in, etc.
Thanks,
Rich
