HAPPY NEW YEARS to the Ex family!!!
This thread was created to see if I made the right connections, but also can be as a tutorial of where to make the connections on your Ex when the diagram is corrected.
As a Christmas present from my wife, I ordered a AutoPage C3-RS-665 and a iDataLink ADS-TB bypass immobilizer
(no key required to be left inside). Since all the wiring have been drawn out, im expecting 5-6 hours since ill be doing everything the right way (no ttaps or quik connects)
I already have all tools ready: crimper/wire separator, solder, elec.tape, butt connectors, shrink tube, terminals, Computer/Airbag safe multimeter...and so on
Requires 2 programmed keys (right now I only have one. I ordered a blank from eBay, but needs to get programmed by dealer or locksmith. Dealer said $100 and Locksmith said $140)
. 2 Keys only required for bypass programming (which will allow remote start); both keys not needed for installation.
Since I had to wait for the stuff (which arrived today), I thought I should make a diagram. Before I started the install, just wanted to know is there anything I missed or made the connection wrong? The H7 connector labels are small in the picture, but the actual size of the diagram is 3060x2712 soo its HUGE on paper.
PM me if you would like the actual wiring diagram for your own install. Image was saved in ".bmp" so its high quality (25mb), and you can easily zoom and edit without the blurriness. Also have a couple other images, links for diagrams, etc.
